1-year Postdoc Position in Computational Photochemistry, Toulouse, October 2017

Dear Colleagues,

A postdoctoral position in Computational Photochemistry is available at the Laboratoire de Chimie et Physique Quantiques at Université Paul Sabatier, Toulouse, France. The post is funded for 12 months and is available from 1st of October 2017 with a flexible starting date. The salary is based on the CNRS salary scale for fixed-term contract research staff.

The research involves applications of computational methods (CASSCF, CASPT2, TD-DFT, spin-flip TD-DFT) for studying the photoisomerization mechanism of organic photochromic dimethyldihydropyrene derivatives. More detailed information about this project can be found on my personal webpage (

Highly motivated candidates with a strong background in ab initio electronic structure methods are encouraged to apply. Eligible candidates should hold a PhD in Theoretical Chemistry, Physics, or related field for less than seven years and have good skills in English language.
