C-MAC Euroschool, June 24-29, 2018, AGH-Krakow, POLAND

par Secretaire - 21 février 2018

Dear Colleagues

We are happy to announce those who have not participated in previous C-MAC meetings, and we remind the others that the next Euroschool 2018 entitled :

"Physical Properties II : Electrons, Phonons and Interactions in Complex Systems"

will be organised in Krakow (Poland) in June 24-29, 2018.

According to the intention of the C-MAC Advisory Board, the Euroschool-2018 will be the 2nd part of the previous Euroschool-2017 which took place in Split (September 10-15, 2017).

The C-MAC Advisory Board has also decided that the Euroshool-2018 in Krakow would mostly cover theoretical and experimental aspects of complex materials that allow to convert different forms of energy.

In particular, the invited lectures will concern fundamental and applied research on thermoelectric and magnetocaloric materials.

The Euroschools organized by the C-MAC Consortium are traditionally addressed to young scientists, postdocs, doctorants and students in such fields as condensed matter physics and chemistry, materials science, metallurgy and material engineering. http://www.eucmac.eu/about/euroschool

Actually, the proposed lectures set a goal not to exceed a master degree. Besides, the aim of the Euroschool is to present ’step-by-step’ lectures, tutorials and hands on.
