KARPLUS Martin at Young Scientist Symposium 2018 - 24-25th May 2018

par Secretaire - 26 mars 2018

Dear Professors, dear Colleagues,

I would like to announce the 11th Young Scientist Symposium that will be held at the European Institute of Chemistry and Biology near Bordeaux (France) on May 24th and 25th 2018. Registration is free but mandatory.

Prof. Martin Karplus (Harvard Univ. - USA), Nobel Prize of Chemistry 2013, and Dr. Luisa Gronenberg (Biosyntia – Denmark) will be keynote speakers at the plenary sessions for Chemistry and Biology. A carrier session is organized as a round table with experienced PhD from scientific journals (one ACS managing editor confirmed), institutions and industry. Our attendees will find alternative insights into fields where the skills and know-how of scientists are welcomed.

The Symposium gives to young researchers (Master students, PhD students and postdocs) the excellent opportunity for interdisciplinary exchange on the edge of Biology and Chemistry. We would like to facilitate collaborative research, networking and knowledge transfer. To do so, young researchers are invited to submit for poster or oral presentations on their latest results.

For the this 11th edition IdEx Bordeaux is granting three 500€ awards for the best poster and two oral communications, and the French Society of Biophysics is granting one 100 € award for the second best poster.

More information can be found on our website :

Looking very forward to meet you in Bordeaux,

Stefano Piccolo
