PhD position_ICGM_Montpellier : heterogeneous catalysis guided by Machine Learning

A PhD position is open at the "Institut Charles Gerhardt de Montpellier", in the MACS team (Matériaux Avancés pour la Catalyse et la Santé) on computational modeling and developing of QM/ML approach in the domain of heterogeneous catalysis. The PhD is expected to start on October 1st, 2020 and is funded for three years. See the attached description of the thesis project.
Interested applicants should have solid background in quantum mechanics and theoretical chemistry. Preliminary training in molecular simulations and machine learning algorithms will be an advantage.
